Conventional transport
The conventional rail system is a system designed for the speed of up to 200km/h and that network consists of: lines intended for the transport of passengers, lines intended for the freight transport and lines intended for combined transport (transport of passengers and goods), railway junctions for transport of passengers and goods, including the intermodal terminals as well.
The conventional transport is the transport of wagon-load consignments in local and international traffic. The transport of wagon-load consignments is envisaged as a service intended for the market of larger quantities of goods such as bulk cargo, chemicals, finished and semi-finished products in the area of metallurgic and construction industry, freight on pallets, etc. The conventional transport may include the transport of special consignments if particular conditions have been met. The closed and open wagons, special purpose wagons, railroad flatbed wagons, tanks and other are used for the realization of these types of transport.
Montecargo as a carrier provides the services of conventional transport in local and international traffic. The conventional transport is realized both in freight wagons owned by railway and in private “P” wagons. Within conventional transport, Montecargo also provides services of wagon delivering to loading and unloading tracks, in order to perform loading-unloading-transshipment by the users of our transport services. Within conventional transport, Montecargo provides the service of technical inspection of rolling stock, maneuvering service, controlling the correct composition of the train, checking cargo for acceptance, listing the trains and compilation of documentation, issuing and taking over the accompanying documents, as well as the complete brake tests in dispatching station. In the transport process, Montecargo offers the service of weighing the consignments on wagon beam scale to all interested users in stations of Bar, Niksic, Podgorica and Tuzi.
